Moving into 2023
Hello again! As the New Year is closing in, I want to take a few moments to extend my gratitude towards you. I am truly thankful for your willingness to be in connection with me and for your desire to work towards your most authentic self.
As each year ends, I like to reflect on the past 12 months. As an unknown source one said "Energy flows where intention goes" and I want my energy in the next year to be meaningful and intentional. In order to do that, I spend time reflecting on the last year- what has changed? What has stayed the same? And am I ok with where these things are now?
I also give myself credit for my accomplishments over the last year and am mindful about identifying things that are going well. I look to the future with optimism, reflecting on my values and how I want to prioritize my values in the upcoming year.
"Let yourself move to the next chapter in life". Sometimes we need to give ourselves permission to let the past go, and move into something more meaningful. And I can't think of a better time to do this than the beginning of a new year.
What are some things you have been putting off? What are things you have been wanting to do more of? Or maybe there are things you have been wanting to take off your plate?
I encourage you to think about your values and how they line up with what is happening in your life. Now is a great time to revisit those values and see if your intentions for this new year line up with them. If they don't line up, why is that? Is there something you need to change so they are mirroring each other?
This is a brand new year to set brand new intentions. No matter what, you will be putting effort and energy into stuff this year- is that stuff the right stuff?
With intentionality in mind, I have made the decision to discontinue monthly blogs in 2023. I have noticed that my passion for writing has shifted. So, starting in 2023, I have given myself permission to write only as it feels energizing to me. I am extremely grateful to those of you who have stayed in connection with me via these blogs and hope to continue to stay in connection moving forward.
Thanks for reading and being in connection with me,
Steph
